The results showed Old Hill's superiority over their opponents, but the games weren't always as easy as the scorelines suggest. We will be having the 'traditional' Team photo, as well as new head shots for the updated player section of the website. So make sure you wash behind your ears, get your fake tan and brush your hair! Prints will be available to buy from the photographer should you want to send one home to your Mum. We will provide dates and times when we know when he photographer is available. Even if you are not selected to play, please come down so you can have your photo taken as part of the squad. We will release more information in the coming week. Crossbar Challenge at Training (Tuesday 30 April)
Congratulations to BK who took out the title of Crossbar Challenge Champion, defeating previous champion Stevie W in a tense sudden-death play-off to take out the $100 pot.
Training on TuesdaysTraining each week takes place on the synthetic football pitch at Clifton Park, Brunswick on Tuesday evenings between 6 and 8pm.
At the moment we are not currently looking for new players. However we are always on the lookout to expand our support base so keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter page for all the latest information and gossip. The Club is pleased to announce that for the 2013 season all home games and training will take place at Clifton Park in Brunswick.
The surface is synthetic but is a fantastic surface that will allow for great football to be played. There will be less chance of the Melbourne winter cancelling games due to waterlogged pitches. It is a dedicated football pitch so goals and nets are always up and the lines will never need to be painted. With its close proximity to public transport there should be more excuses to miss training. Also there is no shortage of drinking establishments in the area!! We would like to extend our thanks to the board of management and in particular Ian and BK for making sure this happened.
